Two worlds, orbiting the same star.

One is very like our own, full of beauty and wonder, if only we choose to see it.  Small creatures inhabit wild places where plants tangle and thrive in hedgerows, fields and gardens.  Butterflies and birds flutter and soar. Water-life enjoys its own secret kingdom.

This is the world of the Embroidery Whisperer.

The other is often invisible to us.  It is in a dimension of its own, of space and time, of imagination and the past, where history, legend and storytelling come together in a fantastic harmony of knowledge and memories.  This is the world of the Embroidery Whisperer's shadow-self.

This is Kentitrix's world.

Where the two worlds overlap you will find the threads of the veil loosen their weave to allow you through.  The Embroidery Whisperer's needle draws the threads of Kentitrix's tales together, and those threads ... well, they are long, shimmering and trembling with magic and mystery.
